Wednesday, February 17th, 2010I’m going on vacation to Hawaii and staying in Kona. I’m planning to rent a car and see all the beautiful sights there, however I don’t know what those sights are. Do you know what the ‘must-see’ sights on the big island are? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated as well. I would prefer cheaper solutions and maybe some hints on cheap car rental and cheap dining. Thanks in advance.
Why On Most Gas Stations In Hawaii Fuel Tank Stoppers Dont Work?
Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010I recently visited Hawaii (Maui and Oahu) and I noticed that gas stations have no fuel tank stoppers. They are there but worn off. So I had to hold the notch and guess when tank is full. At least on all the gas stations I’ve used there. The only guess I come up is that gas stations are in some agreement with car rental companies.
