Where Is An Inexpensive Place To Rent An Apartment In Hawaii? An Apartment To Live In Not A Vacation Rental.?

I want to move there to go to college and everywhere I have found is $1500 a month for a studio apartment. Is there anywhere inexpensive to live in Hawaii?

Try craigslist. It’s free. Click on Honolulu. If you’re planning on attending UH you might look for places along University Avenue. $1500 p/mo is far too expensive on a student budget. My niece had an 800 sq. ft. studio with kitchinette 1/2 mile from the university for $800.00 p/mo. during the years she attended. Good luck and I wish you good fortunes on your journey.

    Go to http://www.rentalsillustrated.com
Look for apartments in Waikiki or Kapahulu/Moilili area.
Or email me at shortbusryders@yahoo.com and i can help you out more. Are you attending UH Manoa?

It is going to be really difficult to find an inexpensive apartment right now (especially near UH). The marketing is really tight. Try to get student housing or find a place that is looking for a roommate.
Try the classifieds of http://www.honoluluadvertiser.com or http://www.starbulletin.com.
